Michael Johnson released by Manchester City

I honestly thought at one time that he would become one of the best midfielders of his generation. So composed, great pass, excellent in possession. More than any other English midfielders, he looked comfortable and in control in the centre of the pitch. There aren’t many clips of him on Youtube, but this video is representative of the career he’s had: the goals are absolute beauties, but there are only three of them.
