Man, full of logic

Where is your principle now

Man, as if by magic

What you are matters somehow

Man, fooled by love

Or what approximates it

Man, you see how

Life crumbles, bit by bit

Man, to live and die

To live alone is to die again

Man, to live a lie

Stuck record to ease the pain

Man, to live together

A caged bird with birdcage duets

Man, standing still

Rages at his silhouette

    • Well, not a specific person, exactly, but more a general feeling I had at that time about people in general. It also wasn’t gender-specific, although I suppose the poem better matches male behaviour 😉
